What To Do When Your Ads Aren't Working?

You’ve heard it time and again that Facebook and Instagram ads should work for your business, but what happens when they don’t?

What happens when your investing your hard-earned money and getting nothing in return? Just a big fat $0. 

Here's the thing. Putting out a sale sign isn't enough.

You need to understand and be able to use the power of scarcity.

Why? Because it's in our DNA to procrastinate.

Even if your customer wants what you're selling, they will put it off until tomorrow or sometime next week. Life will get busy and they'll forget all about it.

You need to give them a reason to buy. An incentive that will help them take the decision to buy now as opposed to putting it off and regretting it later.

I'm going to show you 3 ways you can use scarcity to help your customers get what they want and dramatically increase your income:

#1 Availability

Aka FOMO. You're product or service is only available for a certain period of time. A lot of online courses do this. There is an enrollment period and if you miss it, you have to wait until next year to get in. 

#2 Price

You're price is reduced for a temporary period of time. It rewards the action-takers with a better deal.

#3 Bonus

You could offer something extra for a certain period of time, for example the first 100 customers get a free (valuable) gift.

All people, even if they love your product or service are busy and procrastinating, and it's our job to give them a reason to take action. 

So the next time you're planning an ad campaign, make sure to use an element of scarcity, it is one of the best and simplest ways to sell more and help more people.
